It doesn’t matter if you’re a devout MUJI supporter or just a regular homeowner looking for some good deals, MUJI’s Plaza Singapura flagship store’s reopening will give you plenty of reasons to pay it a visit.
The opening brings with it 5 days of opening deals, a slew of buy-1-free-1 discounts, exclusive treats from the MUJI cafe, freebies and a chance at its sure-win gachapon machine to bag special gifts and vouchers.
Here’s a roundup of the best of its flagship reopening deals:
Buy-1-free-1 deals – Aroma diffuser & small beads sofa set
Singaporeans are not one to resist a buy-1-get-1-free deal, which is why this is one of the first reopening promotions we flocked towards. For a limited time only, MUJI is giving you the chance to Buy-1-Free-1 on a selected range of products from this large aroma diffuser (Now $69.50 each, U.P. $139) to their small beads sofa.
Its original price point is undoubtedly a little steep for a diffuser, but this nifty little appliance doubles as a lamp that will cast a warm glow anywhere you place it at home. It also produces its vapours through the use of ultrasonic waves instead of a flame, which means that it is child and pet safe.
The other noteworthy item would be the small beads sofas (Now $74.50 each, U.P. $149). These are basically Muji’s version of the bean bag chair, and come in two colourways: navy blue and grey.

Being bean bag chairs means that they’re highly versatile, allowing you to use it as either a chair or as an ottoman. With Muji’s opening deal, you‘ll have enough of these adorable cubes for a nice single couch and leg rest combo.
20% off deals for select items
Cooling bed linen series
If your current nightly ritual consists of tossing and turning in your bed just to get cool enough to be comfortable, MUJI’s cooling bed linen series will be a godsend. Recently launched this year, the series comprises pillow cases, sheets, duvet covers, duvet inserts and blankets – all touting the ability to make you feel icy cold.
The series comes in 2 colourways, sky blue and cool grey, to complement the classic Japandi style that MUJI is known for, and range from $15.90 – $109.
We’re back to report that the sheets are indeed silky smooth and cold to the touch, as advertised.
Rubberwood Stacking Set
Also another new range that is finally on discount, is MUJI’s line of rubberwood furniture (U.P. $109-729) with its eye-catching orangish shade that helps add an element of warmth to any home.
They also come with the option for additional accessories like drawers to turn these shelves into cabinets. Those are sadly not on sale though.
Some of the other deals you’ll find around the store.
<$10 daily essentials section
The budget and austerity-minded amongst us would appreciate Muji’s new Everyday Good Price series. Everything that you’ll find in this section – from cleaning tools and hygiene items to office stationery and even instant foods – is priced affordably under $10, and will let you achieve some semblance of a MUJI aesthetic in your own home.
MUJI’s customisable cleaning tool set is a nice addition to Everyday Good Deals.
Bonus: Muji Renovation services
We’ve all lusted over MUJI-inspired homes in Singapore, and who else to trust with achieving the look than MUJI itself. Beyond its opening discounts, the new flagship store also has a new renovation service that will let you work with the OGs to create your dream Japandi home.

They even have a showflat simulating a 1,045sqft, 4-room HDB apartment right within the store itself, so you can gauge what your home might look like.
MUJI’s speciality will be incorporating Japanese design concepts such as Kamoi, where the lighting cables are cleverly concealed within the grooves of sliding doors, and Kotenjo, a highly customisable system where recessed lighting spaces are integrated with other home features such as shelving and doorways.
Muji’s Plaza Singapura flagship store reopening
Another cool thing to know is that the Plaza Singapura flagship store is now MUJI’s largest store not just in Singapore but in Southeast Asia, so it’s definitely worthy of all the hype and a visit.
And if all that shopping makes you peckish, just head over to the MUJI’s in-house cafe to get an exclusive taste of their new matcha cream roll that’s made with ingredients all the way from Ehime. This treat will only be available till 3rd december, so be sure not to miss it.
And if you find yourself carting out with a bill of more than $100, you can redeem an exclusive opening jute tote bag ($58 min. spend) and try your hand at their larger-than-life gachapon machine with a minimum $100 nett spend to land yourself some additional gifts and vouchers. Their reopening deals end on the 26th of November, so if you’ve yet to make plans this weekend, you know what to do.
