Seaside condos are as close as you’ll get to a holiday home in Singapore – better still if you’re lucky enough to snag a sea-facing unit with sweeping views of the horizon. These homes are highly coveted for obvious reasons, one of them being the pretty “seaview” premium you’ll be able to charge future buyers should you ever sell your apartment.
So, if you’re looking for a coastal home to call your own plus the suite of facilities and perks that come with condo living, here are 8 seaside developments for those who dream of waking up by the ocean.
1. Seaside Residences – 4-minute walk to the beach

With its architectural design recognised by the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards, Seaside Residences in Siglap is home to lush landscaping and beach-inspired pools – it’s almost like living in a resort.

But here’s the real deal. Seaside Residences might not be the tallest condominium complex in the Marine Parade district, but at 27-storeys tall, most of its units get a close, unblocked view of the sea. The cherry on top has to be that East Coast Park is only a 4-minute walk away.
On top of its seaside amenities, residents who are itching to go on a shopping spree can take their pick from the many malls within Seaside Residences’ vicinity: Bedok Point, Bedok Mall, 112 Katong, and Parkway Parade.

2. The MeyeRise – Close to ECP, amenities & MRT stations

Another East Coast condo that will give you panoramic views of the sea is The MeyeRise. Blowing the rest of the competition out of the water with its 31 storeys, the great thing about this development is its strategic location away from high-rise buildings. What this means for potential buyers: unadulterated views of the ocean even from the lower floors.

This condo grants you easy access to East Coast Park which is just an 18-minute walk away, via Fort Road and through the underpass on East Coast Park Service Road. Whether it’s walking along the Changi Jurassic Mile or immersing yourself in nature through a glamping experience, there are plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy.
Moreover, The Meyerise is a stone’s throw away from many public transportation options – including Katong Park (TE24) and Dakota (CC8), the latter of which is slightly further. In addition, the condo is an 18-minute drive away from Orchard and the CBD district via the East Coast Park (ECP) expressway, and just 5 minutes from the Singapore Sports Hub via Mountbatten Road.

3. Cote D’Azur – Seaside condo inspired by the French Riveria

This condominium complex was named after the French region of the same name, Côte d’Azur or the French Riviera. Just as its namesake is known for its beach resorts and coastal views, our local Côte d’Azur also feels like a seaside retreat with a serene view.

Its tallest block (Block 66) rises to 23 storeys, but the sea view and the warm sea breeze blowing in from the South-Eastern part of the complex are not the only things to look forward to.
You’ll find that Cote D’Azur is home to many exciting facilities to keep families entertained – young or old. From a massive common pool nestled in the middle of all 5 blocks, to a double tennis court that can accommodate large groups, this complex provides a great environment for unwinding and socialising with family after a taxing day at work.

4. Blue Horizon – Close proximity to schools & parks in the west

Blue Horizon is known for its condo units that look out onto the West Coast and the spatterings of container ships and private yachts that lead out from the West Coast Pier. In fact, the condominium complex also partially overlooks the West Coast Park – meaning residents get to feast their eyes on the rejuvenating sight of the lush, green grove.

While it faces West Coast Park, it’s just a few minutes’ walk away from Clementi Woods Park – a ‘learning park’ equipped with an old-school sandpit playground and nature play garden.

On top of its sea view, Blue Horizon is also sought after due to its close proximity to well-known schools for different communities, including the National University of Singapore, the Japanese Secondary School, and Nan Hua Primary School.
Japanese expat families can look forward to a spread of schools, from kindergartens to high schools, offering curricula in their mother tongue.

5. Seahill – Wide variety of condo units with SOHO & townhouse options

Another high-rise condo in the West, Seahill neighbours Blue Horizon but is a relatively newer project. Like the latter, it provides most of its residents with a picturesque view of the sea – its highest block stands at 28-storeys high.

What’s interesting is that Seahill offers a variety of residential options, including normal condo units, townhouses, and SOHOs. In Singapore, SOHOs typically refer to residential properties constructed like a small office, and approved for light commercial activities by the government. On the other hand, townhouses are often tall terrace houses in a cluster inside a gated condo.

Public transportation via bus is also easily accessible to residents, although the nearest MRT stations are still quite a distance away – Clementi MRT (EW23) and Haw Par Villa MRT (CC25) are both about a 14 and 17-minute walk away, respectively.

6. The Vision – High-rise condo in the West with clubhouse

In the Western part of Singapore, The Vision takes the cake in terms of its height. It is 33-storeys high and sitting at the very top is Singapore’s first-ever rooftop clubhouse that has lighting fixtures that make it look like a diamond shining in the night sky. The clubhouse also houses a bar and private spa that is exclusive to residents.

The bar at the rooftop clubhouse is complete with a wine cellar lounge, a media room and function rooms – great for hosting gatherings and events like birthday parties. Also, if keeping fit is your thing, the clubhouse also houses a gym where residents can take a jog on the treadmills.
On top of a sea view, The Vision is smack in the middle of amenities such as the West Coast Plaza, West Coast Market Square, and Ayer Rajah Food Centre/Market. Residents need only take a short walk to purchase their weekly groceries or grab a quick bite.

Moving on towards the southern parts of the island, Avenue South Residence sits right where West Coast Highway and the Marina Coastal Expressway meet. Most importantly, the 56-storey Residence has a full view of Singapore’s Greater Southern Waterfront and Sentosa.
The residence can be zoned into 3 collections: Peak, Horizon, and Heritage. With 610 units at the initial launch, the Peak Collection (from the 37th to the 56th storey) is dubbed “The Height of Luxury” – a fitting title for the units that guarantee premium views of Singapore’s Southern landscape and coast.

On top of its unobstructed view of the coastline, the Residence’s towers also overlook Singapore’s CBD district and the wide expanse of the Tanjong Pagar heartlands – which are teeming with life and activity.
The condominium comes with 18 Sky Gardens and Sky Courts.

With its height comes space – throughout the levels, there are many gardens that have been designed for play and exploration for the young, as well as for relaxation for older residents. Other than tall conifers and sufficient plant cover, these areas make way for facilities such as karaoke and function rooms, a stargazing alcove, as well as several pools.
Each one of the 18 Sky Gardens and Sky Courts extends across 3 storeys, so as to create therapeutic spaces with lush landscaping – no matter the unit you reside in, you have access to gardens that connect you with nature.

To pair with the unblocked view of Marina Bay and beyond, Marina One Residences is home to “The Green Heart”, a 65,000sqft garden that features a 13-metre high waterfall. Coupled with its extensive landscaping, the complex truly brings nature closer to the homes of its residents.

From louvres that usher in natural ventilation to green canopies, residents will get ample shade and protection from Singapore’s hot climate.
On top of the architectural design of the development, innovative technology such as rainwater harvesting systems has been incorporated into the building to ensure energy and resource efficiency – the ideal condo for eco-conscious Singaporeans looking to live with a seaview.

Gazing out from the condo, one can easily spot Marina Bay Sands standing tall, and even Gardens by the Bay peeking out among the foliage in the distance. Every night at 7.30pm, residents can even enjoy a clear view of the Garden Rhapsody light show located at the Supertree Grove.
Marina One Residences is conveniently connected to the Marina Coastal Expressway. It’s also right smack next to Marina Bay MRT station (NS27, CE2), and will soon be connected to 4 of Singapore’s 6 MRT lines – perfect for commuting across the island. By 2025, the Thompson-East Coast Line (via TE20) will be fully opened to residents.
