Forget paying delivery fees or queueing for Starbucks at the nearest mall, residents of Tree House Condo in Bukit Panjang can simply pop downstairs for a caffeine fix. Located at Chestnut Drive, this condo is home to Singapore’s very first self-serve Starbucks kiosk in a residential development, launched in April 2021 through a collaboration with Starbucks Singapore.

Located at the condo’s carpark lobby, the self-serve kiosk is a unique amenity that’s unlike the standard condo gym or pool. With 24/7 access, it’s perfect for grabbing your morning coffee on the way to work or satisfying that late-night caffeine craving.

And it’s not your typical coffee machine with just black coffee—the kiosk serves up a variety of Starbucks favourites, from cappuccinos to macchiatos, and even seasonal specials like the Sea Salt Caramel Latte. If you prefer your drinks cold, an ice dispenser is available to keep your iced drinks chilled.

The drinks are slightly cheaper than at a regular outlet, usually between $4 and $6. With contactless payment only, picking up a cup is simple and fuss-free, no queues involved. The kiosk only accepts contactless payment, so residents can easily grab their coffee with just a phone or card in hand.

The most random Starbucks machine ever – at a carpark?? I wonder how much it costs to rent it per month. #CapCut #tiktoksg #starbuckssg #newdiscovery #exploresg #coffee #fypsg #sgcoffee

Adding convenience to Tree House condo

Located between Dairy Farm and Bukit Panjang, Tree House is a little more secluded, so having an on-site Starbucks is a real lifesaver for residents. With Hillview MRT Station a few bus stops away and a 14-minute walk to Pending LRT Station, getting coffee elsewhere can feel like a hassle. But with the kiosk at their doorstep, a caffeine fix is always just a few steps away.

Tree House is renowned for its 25-storey vertical garden, once the world’s largest, and its eco-friendly design, which earned it the BCA Green Mark Platinum award. While living here isn’t cheap—a 2-bedroom unit starts at $1.08M, with rentals going for $3,200 to $3,600 a month—the convenience of a self-serve Starbucks kiosk makes it a unique perk for its residents.

Staying there doesn’t come cheap though, a 2-bedroom unit currently starts at around $1.08m, while rentals go for about $3,200–$3,600 a month.

The kiosk brings an everyday luxury to the doorstep of Tree House’s residents, a welcome perk of staying in a quieter part of Bukit Panjang. Following this first kiosk, a similar Starbucks kiosk was announced as part of Great World Residences’ refurbishment works, located at the new residents’ co-working space.

Going beyond daily convenience, the Starbucks kiosk is a unique lifestyle offering that feels novel and leaves a lasting impression on both residents and their guests.
