Here’s yet another Pokémon collaboration to add to the list. While a Le Creuset X Pokémon kitchenware collection is something that we can’t say we saw coming, it makes perfect sense in hindsight—especially since The Pokémon Company is no stranger to home goods collaborations.

The first wave of Le Creuset’s Pokémon range will be available at Takashimaya. The collection officially launches on 17th July, with a second launch of items tentatively slated for November 2024. Preorders are already open, so here’s what you can look forward to copping.

Pikachu-themed pots & kettle

Le Creuset is famous for its high-performance cookware, especially its enamelled cast iron offerings.

There are 2 cast iron pots available in the collection, with the Pokémon Marmite 22cm In Black With Chrome Knob ($509) being the pricier choice. Its elegant black design, along with the detailed line art emblazoned on its lid, makes it an excellent collector’s item that’s sleek and functional.

The vibrant yellow hue of the Pokémon Rice Pot 18cm In Nectar ($469) makes it the more eye-catching option, with a print of Pikachu’s tail along its side. The design is tied together by the Pokéball motif on the lid, making it a fun addition to any Pikachu lover’s kitchen.

Pikachu enthusiasts will also want to take a look at the Pokémon Classic Kettle Iridescent Knob 1.6L In Nectar ($169) available in the collection, with its striking colour and winding pattern of running Pikachu silhouettes.

All 3 handcrafted cookware come with a new, collection-exclusive iridescent knob, topped with a laser engraving of a Pokéball.

If instead you’re looking for more everyday-use items to tickle your Pokémon fancy, you’ll want to look at Le Creuset’s selection of stoneware. Le Creuset’s stoneware is another iconic range from the brand, boasting unmatched thermal resistance and excellent heat distribution.

The collection offers 200ml Stacking Mugs ($169), 17cm Sphere Plates ($169), and 11cm Sphere Rice Bowls ($149) in sets of 5. Each of these sets comes with items in 5 colours: Palm, Flame, Purist Blue, Nectar, and Blue Bell Purple, neatly corresponding with some of the 18 Pokémon elemental types.

Even more thematic are the silhouettes of Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu and Snorlax, with each Pokémon matched to their elemental colour━this collection allows you to indulge your (or your kids’) Pokémon hobby in a more subtle, aesthetic fashion.

Another pair of kid-friendly picks from the collection are the Pokémon Poké Ball Tableware Set in White/Carmin ($99) and Pokémon Master Ball Tableware Set in White/Cassis ($99)

Each set comes with 3 pieces that stack up to look like a Pokéball. First is  a white plate, topped with  a coloured plate and a small round dish, printed to look like a Pokéball button..

That’s not all: the red plate hides a Pikachu silhouette, while the other is printed with that of a legendary Pokémon.
