Imagine being the co-founder of arguably the largest and most popular social media platform in history, with a net worth of approximately USD $10.2 billion to your name. What would you do with all your money?
Well, at least here in Singapore, you snap up properties. In particular, Good Class Bungalows (GCBs), which are one of the many avenues in which the rich and affluent spend their wealth.
In case you’re unfamiliar with who we’re talking about, it’s Facebook co-founder turned businessman and investor Eduardo Saverin and his many luxury properties in Singapore. We take a look through his esteemed property lineup, and give our take on what’s so noteworthy about them.
1. Most expensive GCB at Nassim Road

One of Eduardo’s most notable – and also rumoured – purchases is a GCB along Nassim Road, which is the neighbourhood where quite a number of GCBs are located.
Of course, this is no ordinary GCB. In fact, this is probably the most expensive home to have ever been transacted in Singapore, at a whopping $230M. Standing at an impressive 84,544sqft, the 2-storey bungalow comes with other interesting features like a tennis court and a swimming pool. It also has a relatively long driveway that leads out to the main road, which helps in maintaining privacy from onlookers and passersby.

Looking at the property on Google Maps, you can’t really see parts of the home, mainly due to the long driveway and the foliage that obstructs the view from the main road. We guess this is intentional, so that its occupants can enjoy their privacy without having prying eyes constantly trying to take a peek at the most expensive home here in Singapore.
2. Sculptura Ardmore
Another one of Eduardo’s purchases is a 10,300sqft duplex penthouse in a high-rise condominium called Sculptura Ardmore. According to reports online, the freehold apartment was purchased for approximately S$60M back in 2017.

The condominium is situated along Ardmore Park, which is located in the Orchard Road district and just a short drive away from places like ION Orchard, The American Club and Far East Plaza. Built by Carlos Zapata of DP Architects Pte Ltd, the condo stands at an impressive 36 storeys high, with unit sizes ranging from 4,200sqft-11,000sqft. Looking at the condo from the ground, it gives off very sleek and modern vibes, and does indeed convey the luxurious living that the development affords its residents.

The condo also features a swimming pool on the top floor, which gives you seriously awesome views of the Singapore skyline in all directions. Definitely a highlight for all residents, especially at night when you can soak (pun intended) in the city lights after a long day.
If you fancy being Eduardo’s neighbour, good news: Based on our checks online, there are two 8,062sqft penthouse units for sale which are going for $60M each.
3. The Orchard Residences
According to reports, one of Eduardo’s earliest properties here in Singapore was a 5,000sqft penthouse unit at Orchard Residences, which sits on top of ION Orchard. According to developers Capitaland, it is Orchard Road’s tallest landmark building, and comprises 175 exclusive, super-luxury apartments. From what we know, there are a total of 4 penthouse units that occupy the top few floors.
Like most condominiums, Orchard Residences come with all the frills and the whole gamut of facilities for its residents to enjoy. According to its official website, this includes a yoga room, sky lounge, a 3-temperature jacuzzi, and even a wine & cigar room.

In terms of today’s prices, units at the Orchard Residences go for approximately S$2,806-S$ 4,057psf. At present, there are a handful of 4-bedroom units available for sale, going for an average of $9M each.
Eduardo Saverin’s Luxury Homes in Singapore
When it comes to Eduardo Saverin’s luxury homes here in Singapore, one of the things that we know is that while he has been splashing out on high-end properties, he is pretty private about his personal life. This leaves us to wonder if he might have more properties hidden up his sleeve that the public might not know about. Of course, he can’t also be at all his homes at one time, so that also begs the question of where exactly he stays here in Singapore.
As far as we know, Eduardo has been linked to a total of three properties here in Singapore, all of which are fairly impressive in their own right. Given his immense wealth, we’re sure this is probably not going to be the end of his property-buying spree…or if he really only has three to his name.
