September may be the month of the pumpkin spice latte and fall collections for clothing, but worry not, dear reader, for there’s still plenty of furniture and homeware sales abound. From big names like Scanteak and IKEA to more boutique brands like Commune, you’re going to have plenty to spend last month’s salary on this weekend.
1. September 5th-15th: Scanteak 9.9 Sale

Scanteak might well be the biggest sale of this season, with huge savings available for plenty of its pieces.

In fact, if you visit their stores you get exclusive discounts that you cannot get from the online sale, such as chairs worth $179 for only $9.90. In fact, heading to their Toh Guan and Tan Boon Liat showrooms would net you a couple more unique discounts that are exclusive to those two stores.

For those shopping from the comfort of their own home though, you’re still getting plenty of good deals, with Scanteak highlighting some of their bigger discounts in their Star Buys section. In fact, spending more is going to net you greater savings, with $99 off every $799 spent.

2. Until 8th September: Changi Furniture Experience Centre School Holiday Sale

The largest furniture showroom in Singapore should also be on your radar, with up to 80% discounts to look forward to. With premium brands like Nova, Musterring and Rozel amongst others, expect to have a full day trip to the 50,000sqft store.

For the hyper thrifters out there though, there is even a section where you can take home everything from desks to whole mattresses for just $1. And if you find yourself wanting a furniture piece really badly but don’t quite have enough to sink into it that day, they also have 0% instalment plans available for up to 36 months.
3. Until 15th September: Courts online Pre-9.9 sale

Couch potato shoppers out there, Courts has got your back: from now till 15th September you’d be able to enjoy an online-only sale, with select items going for up to 50% off.

There’s definitely plenty to shop, but here are some highlights: including a Bosch dishwasher for 44% off, a Warner 5-piece dining set for 30% off and a cabinet for a decent 48% off.

4. September 6th-8th: IKEA Rest Fest, stand to win a $5,000 bedroom makeover

Now for something truly eyebrow-raising: IKEA will be organising an entire sale centred around sleep. RestFest will start from Friday and last through the weekend, with 3 times the IKEA family points on your purchases during those 3 days; up to 60% off selected items for each day; 20% off for lots of bedroom-related furniture; as well as bundle deals on fitted sheets and pillow cases.

5. September 7th-8th: Castlery’s Home Refresh Sale Event

The event will also feature complimentary cold pressed juices for the first 300 visitors on each day, alongside prizes to be won at their claw machine.
