We all have that one friend who always swears that they’re just 10 minutes away from where you were supposed to meet…. 20 minutes ago. Next time you have a shopping date with them in Orchard, rather than wait for them on the MRT platform, pop by the free Heveya Sleeping Pods at Tangs Level 3 for a 30-minute power nap instead.
Heveya Sleeping Pods at Tangs Orchard
As part of World Sleep Month, Heveya will have free sleeping pods located at Tangs Orchard till April 10th. Now, these aren’t the same capsule-esque designs you might have seen in some libraries or gyms.
The Heveya Sleeping Pods are literal beds sheltered under a cabana indoors for maximum comfort and privacy, just like how safari-goers in Africa are put up in a glamorous tent. Curtains will also shade you from the prying eyes of window shoppers, so don’t worry, no one will be able to see how you sleep with your mouth agape.
There are 2 sleeping pods available for you. The first pod features the Heveya III mattress placed on a solid teak bed frame, while the second pod has the Heveya II mattress on a motorised ergonomic bed frame. Both mattresses have 6 degrees of firmness ranging from firm to medium, and each half of the mattress can also be adjusted separately, making it great for partners who have different comfort levels.
Both sleeping pods have the brand’s hypoallergenic organic latex pillows for you to rest your head on, and you can also choose between a French Linen or Bamboo Lyocell duvet cover, depending on which material makes you the most comfortable.
To ensure that you’re power napping like a boss, Devialet speakers will softly play soothing ambient music, while Heveya Sleep Blend essential oils will set the right olfactory mood. You can get your hands on these blends at a curated display nearby, or stock up on other sleep must-haves like bamboo eye masks, linens, and bolsters.
While no purchase is necessary to take a quick siesta in the sleeping pod, bookings are required. Each slot will take up an hour of your time, with half dedicated to snoozing, while the other half will be some post-sleep educational talks.
Bookings for the Heveya Sleeping Pods can be made here.
Learn about the benefits of latex & win gachapon prizes
While getting your forty winks in a sleeping pod is the quintessential way to celebrate World Sleep Month, there are other activities to be done while you’re wide awake, too.
Just by the entrance to Tangs Orchard on Level 1 is the Heveya Experience Center, where facilitators are on hand to guide you through a sleep mindfulness session or experience the benefits of latex through interactive displays.
You can also try your hand at a gachapon machine with a minimum spend of $288 on Heveya products, with prizes that include vouchers, bolsters, linens and even a king-sized mattress.

Over at Heveya’s Tiong Bahru flagship showroom, interior designer Barbara Fritschy will teach you how to style your bed to be Instagram- and Pinterest-worthy.
Take a 30-minute power nap for free in the Heveya Sleeping Pods
The next time you have an appointment with your tardy friend in town, be sure to book yourself an available slot at the Heveya Sleeping Pods just in case. That way, you can get some shut-eye and refresh yourself before your flustered pal arrives after missing the umpteenth bus, again. If all your shopaholic friends are always punctual, you lot can make a pit stop by Tangs to rest more than just your feet in between your retail therapy sessions.
