If you let loose a “yay” last December when lower household and electricity tariffs were announced for Q1 2025, here’s another reason to cheer: Senoko Energy has launched a new LifeSteady Plan that guarantees you even more savings on your electricity bills. That’s one less reason to worry about the cost of running the washing machine for an extra load of laundry.
Guaranteed savings with the LifeSteady Plan

Yes, Singapore Power (SP) announcing the lower tariffs was great, but nobody’s said no to more savings, ever. And more savings is what you’ll get when you sign up for Senoko Energy’s LifeSteady Plan, which comes with sign-on commitments of 24 or 36 months.

Let’s put this into perspective: the national average electrical consumption for a 5-room HDB flat is about 460kWh a month, according to the Energy Market Authority (EMA). The prevailing SP tariff of 30.65c/kWh means your monthly bill is something like $141. With the LifeSteady Plan, which gives you a fixed discount of 1.64c/kWh, you will save $7.54 a month.
Add in any bill rebates that you may be eligible for, plus freebies, and you’re looking at total savings of up to $650 with a 36-month LifeSteady plan.
Get rebates of up to $170, a free robot vacuum & more
The global economical climate isn’t great, in spite of Singapore seeing its lowest core inflation in 3 years last November, so any extra savings we can get are always welcome. Also, we’re true aunties at heart━we’ll take whatever freebies we can get.

They’re all really useful whether you’re setting up your new home, or already have one: set up GIRO payments on the LifeSteady36 Plan, and receive a Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S20 EU in white that’s worth $359.

Perhaps you’d rather try out the LifeSteady24 Plan for 2 years, which will get you a Tefal IT3280 Garment Steamer that retails for $169, or better yet, a PRISM+ Aura Air Purifier in Alpine White which would usually cost you another $279.
If you’re a Maybank credit card holder, enjoy up to $140 of rebates, or simply set up GIRO payments for rebates of up to $150. Even if you want to pay the bills monthly, there’s rebates of up to $60 too. All this, on top of $20 you can get by using a friend’s referral code.
Note: terms and conditions apply to all freebies and rebates.
Helping to reduce carbon emissions

If the financial savings weren’t perks enough, there’s also the additional good karma you’ll rack up through the carbon emission savings on a Senoko Energy plan. ICYMI, Senoko Energy’s initiatives include looking into cleaner energy options, and at least 3% of the energy that you use under their plans is certified solar with hybrid energy.
In big picture terms, that’s helping to reduce 129kg of carbon emissions over 24 months, or 194kg over 36 months, assuming a monthly consumption of 430kWh.
Should you want to take this further, you could even sign up for their LifeGreen24 Plan━any and all electricity you use in your home will be 100% certified solar carbon neutral. In 24 months, you’ll have potentially reduced your carbon footprint by 4,301kg.
The new LifeSteady Plan with Senoko Energy guarantees electricity bill savings
It’s not difficult to sign up for the new LifeSteady Plan with Senoko Energy━it’ll take you just 5 minutes or less, with 3 simple steps: pick your plan, enter your promo code of choice, and upload your latest bill. SP tariffs may have dropped for this quarter, but who knows what will happen in Q2 2025?
