A first of its kind, the Smart Home Tech Show is now on at the Suntec Convention Centre till 17th November, gathering everything you’d need in your smart home into one convenient location. Door locks, smart lights and new appliances—you name it, they’ve got it—alongside a bevy of furniture stores.
With a mix of exclusive deals, new launch reveals and prizes to be won, here are 6 finds for you to look forward to when exploring Singapore’s first one-stop shop for both smart tech and home furnishings.
1. Möwe—Smart Home Consultation
Starting off the list is Möwe, a smart living brand with a huge catalogue of smart home products, comprehensive enough to completely refit your home.
Get a free home consultation at the Smart Home Tech Show, which includes an introduction to the various products they have, so you get help planning how they can be implemented in your home.
One of the highlights would be their smart kitchen, which uses smart technology to help you keep track of when family members like children or elderly are cooking, or notify you of potential hazards like smoke or unchecked fires.
2. Daikin—Now with an in-house smart home hub
Daikin is a well-known household brand that many Singaporeans have grown up with, and this time they’ve come with new tricks up their sleeve.
Beyond the exclusive prices for some of their air conditioners, they also have their new Reiri smart home hub that’s not only specifically designed for their products, but also compatible with other smart devices that you might already have.
Buying from the booth at the show will net you a bunch of benefits, including a free Daikin air purifier worth $449 and 50% off any purchase of the Reiri smart home hub.
3. WiZ—First time in Singapore
Those who’ve dabbled in smart lights would already have heard of WiZ, but this Smart Home Tech Show marks the French-Asian brand’s first real entry into the Singapore market. Sharing the same parent company with the Philips Hue series of smart lights, they promise to offer similar performance at a fraction of the cost.
This is accomplished through the use of RGBIC tech, which allows for a range of colours much broader than traditional LEDs. The real draw of Wiz lights over those of the more well-known Philips Hue though, is that it runs on Wi-Fi.
This means that homeowners can access all the cool aesthetics and convenience of smart lights even if they don’t have conventional smart home systems like Google Nest.
4. Sterra—Live demonstrations of their new vacuum cleaners
Known more for their air purifiers and to an extent their massage chairs, Sterra has extended their line to include vacuum cleaners. At the Smart Home Tech Show, they’ll be showcasing the capabilities of their vacuums extensively, complete with live demonstrations throughout the 4 days.
