Fresh off the press at the annual Consumer Electronics Show 2025 (CES) is a new generation of vacuum cleaners that will completely change the landscape of smart home cleaning, and you can colour us impressed too.
One such brand is MOVA, which burst onto the scene last year, quickly establishing itself in more than 30 countries worldwide and winning awards including Best in Show CES, CES Picks Award, and CES Innovation Award at the recent CES for their next-gen vacuum cleaners: the Z50 Ultra Robot Vacuum, and X4 Pro Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner━a cordless vacuum.

World-first 36°C heated water mopping
It’s a known fact that cleaning your floors with hot water is the best way to get rid of grease and dirt. With the MOVA Z50 Ultra Robot Vacuum, this can be a reality without you having to lift a finger━in a world-first, this robot vacuum cleaner mops your floors with water that’s heated to a balmy 36°C.
So just in case your house is laid with wooden or laminate floors, which don’t do so well with hot water, the Z50 Ultra’s nicely warm water mopping should do the trick.
Instant mop cleaning & hands-free washing
Heated water mopping aside, here’s where the Z50 Ultra takes mopping your house to the next level: its first-of-its-kind D-shape track-type mop head is constantly rolling and being cleaned, with sensors that detect how dirty the mop head is in real time.
When the sensors detect that the mop head is getting too dirty, for example if it’s just cleaned up a particularly bad spill, the robot will return to its docking station for a deep cleaning sesh.

The spray action of the water is accompanied by a power scrape that combs through the bristles, helping to remove dirt and maintain hygiene throughout the cleaning process.
All the dirty water is channeled to a secondary catchment tank in the vacuum, which ensures that the robot is always mopping with clean water.

Plus, the mop head is perpetually being fluffed, so the mop head will always be able to catch every bit of dirt on the floor. It’s accompanied by an extensible rotary mop head, which helps the robot vacuum to mop into corners of the room.
World-first triple-intelligence AI sensing
In a world that’s seeing a rapid rise in AI technology, the MOVA Z50 Ultra’s triple-intelligence AI takes it even further. As mentioned, its robot vacuum AI detects when the mop needs a deep clean, urging the vacuum back to the docking station to wash the mop head.
Base station AI then adjusts the temperature of the water that’s used to clean the mop head in the docking station, based on how dirty it is.
Finally, there are the binocular AI cameras, which help it to detect different types of dirt and grime, allowing it to adapt and clean accordingly. For dirtier areas, the robot vacuum will even go back for a precise re-mop.
Easy to use, with high-powered suction
Older models of robot vacuums aren’t able to really get into tight corners because of their circular shape, but the MOVA Z50 Ultra has extendable brushes, just like its rotary mop head, that allow it to vacuum into those hard-to-reach places.
Coupled with a powerful suction of 19,000Pa, and a brush that slices through any and all long hairs, you can be sure that this robot vacuum isn’t going to get choked on hair or fur.
X4 Pro Wet & Dry Vacuum

For the real hard worker, look instead to the X4 Pro Wet & Dry Vacuum, which stars what’s said to be groundbreaking technology with its 80°C hot water spray cleaning━something that no other brand on the market has done. Say goodbye to grimy floors and hello to squeaky clean ones with the easy-to-use X40 Pro, which heats and sprays hot water as you mop, with a mere 4 seconds of heating time between sprays.
Why, you might ask, would a hot water mop be better for cleaning floors? This is because the heat facilitates the dissolving of grime, sugars and oils on the floor, doubling up on the cleaning power of detergent, or even forgoing the need for other cleaning agents.
The MOVA X4 Pro employs a 100°C brush-washing technology in its docking station, alongside hot air drying at a staggering 90°C. What this means is that you won’t have to remove the mop pad, wash it, or hang it out to dry after every clean. It’s cordless, and has a 180° lie-flat design that allows you to get right under your furniture, without slowing down on its impressive 20,000Pa suction power.
And returning this vacuum to its docking station is as easy as ABC━simply slide it back into the dock without having to lift it up. Even if you did have to carry it, this vacuum only weighs in at 1.1kg, which is extra light for what it is.
Its LED-lit brush head also helps you to spot the dirt in dark corners, while its dual-edged brush allows you to clean right up close to the walls━a 0mm gap, it’s claimed.
Something that stood out for us when we tested it was how smooth the X4 Pro was to manoeuvre━it has a 60° swivel, assistive wheels, and a high-speed 104,000rpm motor that make it extra easy to handle.
