VINTERFINT Cup/Saucer
At first glance, it looks like an ordinary cup and saucer, but a closer look reveals the clever twist: an oversized saucer that doubles as a mini plate. Gustaf explains the inspiration:
“When I was growing up, I spent Christmas at my grandmother’s house, and she always baked so many different kinds of cookies. You were supposed to take one of each, but you could never hold them all in your hands. I wanted to create an oversized saucer that could act as its own small plate, so you could place the cookies around your cup and carry everything at once.”
Originally designed for ‘glögg’ (mulled wine), the VINTERFINT cup and saucer is just as perfect for an espresso. Available in dark green and pink, it combines playful design with practical function, adding a festive touch to any table.
VINTERFINT Vase
Arguably the most whimsical piece in the collection, the VINTERFINT Vase immediately stands out with its playful spiral design. Larger than most other items, it seems to float and bounce, a fun illusion that Gustaf Westman embraced, even testing its “bounce” in person.
The spiral isn’t just for show. A specially crafted handblown glass fits snugly within, holding your flowers perfectly while maintaining the vase’s quirky, airy aesthetic. It’s a clever combination of functionality and playful design, making this piece a joyful statement for any home.
VINTERFINT Serving Plate
Next in the collection is the VINTERFINT Serving Plate, designed with the iconic IKEA meatball in mind. This long porcelain plate arranges meatballs, or any bite sized treats into a neat, celebratory row.
At the media preview, Gustaf Westman even suggested that Singaporean favourites like ondeh-ondeh or kueh would fit perfectly.
The plate is also stackable, with contoured bottoms that make storage simple. Beyond serving, two of these plates spread across a table can double as a stylish display for snacks, turning everyday entertainment into a fun and visual experience.
VINTERFINT Plate
Next up is the VINTERFINT Plate, cleverly designed to be both round and square. The central portion, where your food sits is traditionally round, while the exterior edges are square, making them easier to hold and serve.
Available in pink and dark green, practicality meets playful. The plates are also stackable, combining smart functionality with Westman’s signature quirky design twist.
VINTERFINT Candlestick
No Christmas collection would be complete without lights, and the VINTERFINT Candlestick brings charm to any festive setting. These pillar candle holders not only hold candles but also create a cheerful atmosphere. Available in red and blue, they can be easily mixed and matched with other items in the collection.
True to the collection’s signature style, this piece features smooth, rounded edges with no sharp corners. Making them both visually pleasing and safe, perfect for a joyful, stress-free holiday display.
STRÅLA LED Candelabra
Reimagining a classic Swedish Christmas staple, the STRÅLA LED Candelabra replaces traditional candles with playful bulbs. It features 2 brightness settings, making it perfect as a nightlight or a festive accent. Its unique design even allows for placing small items, like a book, between the bulbs.
Crafted from steel, the candelabra is sturdy, yet lightweight. True to the collection’s style, it has smooth rounded corners, making it a standout piece that adds both function and flair.
STRÅLA LED decorative table lamp
The collection includes a playful pink decorative lamp, a portable rechargeable LED light encircled by 2 chunky rings. The outer ring can be rotated to create a handle for carrying or hanging, or aligned so the lamp lies flat on a surface.
Inspired by an old Swedish tradition of carrying a lantern into the forest to gather firewood, Westman designed this piece to be versatile and functional, blending practicality with whimsical, signature design charm.
VINTERFINT Pillar candle holder
Rounding out the collection is the VINTERFINT Pillar Candle Holder, available in 2 shapes. The green version fits traditional cylinder candles, while the blue holds classic smaller white candles found in IKEA stores.
Designed similarly with the square-and-round motif like the large plates, these candle holders can be arranged together to form a playful mosaic, adding festive charm and versatility to any display.

This collection feels fun, whimsical, and refreshingly creative. Paired with IKEA’s reputation for affordable design, it’s exciting to bring home pieces that feel like functional art. When asked about future collaborations, Gustaf Westman hinted: “Maybe a sofa?”
