A business manager and self-styled “accidental influencer,” Bob Mubarak’s current home is a 1,313 sqft 5-room resale flat inspired by minimal elegance. He went with the theme of quiet luxury—drawing from his love of styling. He wanted his home to be a blank canvas for him to flex his creativity.

Curved elements were strategically introduced to soften the aesthetic while adding visual depth and texture to the space.

One of the first things you’ll notice about the home is that it is a wonderland of curves and clever carpentry—all in a creamy, sail white to create a seamless look throughout. Open shelving is aplenty, allowing Bob to switch up the look of his space as and when he wants.
His dry pantry and wet kitchen are a gorgeous take on simplified farmhouse style with a touch of luxe.

One of Bob’s non-negotiables was creating enough storage, as this was something he struggled with in his previous home. Tidplus addressed this by incorporating ample built-in concealed storage spaces throughout the home without compromising on the overall aesthetic.

Another clever design element here, disguised by a curve, is the entrance to his guest room. Tidplus Design suggested hacking down the walls of his common bedroom in place of a specially designed curved feature door, expanding the entrance and creating extra fluidity in the home.

The dining area is flanked by open display units to showcase his prized possessions. These are in turn flanked on both sides with closed storage to neatly stow away decor, letting Bob have the real estate to both show off his decor pieces and have somewhere to keep them hidden when he decides to change up the collection.

Two other stunning areas of his home are his master bathroom vanity and walk-in pantry, both featuring a striking sintered stone countertop and backsplash that completely transform the vibe of each space—luxury executed to a T.
Yina Goh’s cosy Japandi condo

The second home on our list belongs to beauty and lifestyle content creator Yina Goh, who is also the founder of the fashion label The Velvet Dolls. Her 3-bedroom condo is a perfect reflection of her warm and cosy aesthetic, blending style with functionality in every corner.
In her brief to Tidplus Design, Yina wanted a Japandi-themed home, so they set out to combine the simplicity of Japanese minimalism with the warmth of Scandinavian functionality, creating a space that would serve their family for the long run.
From the moment you step in, the home’s entryway makes a statement with a striking curved wooden feature wall that wraps seamlessly from the floor across the ceiling around the wall—an eye-catching detail that leaves a lasting impression on guests.
A standout feature is the backlit circular niche, which enhances the home’s tranquil mood while adding a subtle touch of elegance.

Being an avid cook, Ken wanted a space to be able to comfortably host family and friends. This was why a spacious dining area was one of the requests they had for Tidplus Design, which seemed to be tricky to create in their rectangular condo living area.
To counter this, their ID created an L-shaped seating nook to maximise the perimeter of one side of their living room, allowing it to accommodate up to eight guests. Additional functionality is implemented here too, with concealed storage integrated beneath the seats.
Further into the living room, you’ll notice the intricate details in the carpentry of their feature console wall, showcasing the level of thought that went into the design.

Another key feature on Yina’s wishlist? A walk-in wardrobe—and Tidplus Design delivered with an L-shaped wardrobe, a stylish island, and a long vanity. Designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing, the wardrobe features curved arches and strip lighting on the cabinet doors, turning it into a sophisticated display for her fashion and beauty essentials.
With a seamless blend of form and function, Yina’s home is a testament to thoughtful, lifestyle-centric design.
Tricia Ong’s modern luxe reno
One of the first things Tidplus Design asked Tricia Ong (a.k.a. @vaingloriousyou) and her husband, Angus, when they met, was for them to share 15 inspirational images on their mood board for this renovation. That became the starting point for their designer, Kai, to find the “common thread” that would shape the aesthetic of their home.
As a realtor and lifestyle content creator, Tricia told her designers that she wanted the design of her 1,600 sqft 5-bedroom condo in the east to be functional and timeless, with plenty of storage for their growing family.
The theme they went with was Modern Luxe, and Tidplus Design set out to create a home that could accommodate Tricia’s lifestyle while serving as a backdrop for her content creation.
The utilisation of subtle curves helped add depth and detail to soften up the overall look of the home.
They didn’t just want to create typical cupboards to tick the storage box; instead, they designed purposeful focal points with carpentry and lighting, allowing Tricia to showcase her personality through decorating. This is evident in the intricately built custom display wall in her living room, which is laminated with textured vinyl for added visual depth.
An interesting feature of their renovation is the tall island in the living room, which also functions as their dining table. Their love for hosting meant they wanted to create an extra-large communal space for gatherings, and this multi-functional island allows for additional seating whenever needed.
The need for storage solutions is also reflected in the extensive closed-door storage seamlessly integrated along the TV wall, beneath the island, and within the bathrooms.
To maximise storage for all of her clothes and accessories, they designed a galley-style walk-in wardrobe that offers efficient organisation while maintaining an open, accessible layout. The sleek lines in this space are complemented by fluted panels and a hanging mirror, adding texture and visual intrigue to create a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere.
