Sheng Siong loses out on the price comparison when it comes to paper towels, with FairPrice’s house brand being a good $0.84 cheaper than the former’s own house brand offering. Even if you were to go for a brand name product like Scott, FairPrice has the better prices across the board.

If the price tag is all you’re concerned about, both FairPrice and Sheng Siong offer a 1L bottle of their house brand bleach for just a dollar. The story is very different though, when you consider the per litre price of bigger bottles.
To illustrate this point, a 3.4L Bleachplus from ShengSiong would be the better purchase, coming up to $1.97 for 3.4L, or $$0.57/L, which is cheaper than its FairPrice counterpart, which at $2.42 for 3.8L works out to $0.63/L.

Those who really like to use Cif for their kitchen cleaning would probably be glad to find out that you won’t be losing a cent buying it from either supermarket chain—both are priced the same, although Sheng Siong is running a 3 for $4.95 deal that does help you save more.
That said, for this particular brand, we’ll give the extra points to FairPrice for its sheer selection of Cif products, including their collaboration with viral sponge brand Scrub Daddy.

Granted, The clearest winner would be the glass cleaner, which you can get for $5.75, or $0.60 less at Sheng Siong, but other products in the Mr Muscle line are generally either cheaper or priced lower as compared to FairPrice too.
